Color Candy is an indie-slacker-rock type band stemming from Austin, Texas. Founded in 2016 by members Merri Palmer (lead vox, rhythm guitar), Robert Wills (drums, percussion), and Kevin Martin (bass, back vox), the band has since gone on to perform highly energetic and uniquely captivating sets at several Austin residences including Hotel Vegas, Cheer Up Charlies, Mohawk, Swan Dive, Radio Beer and Coffee, Indian Roller and others, along with releasing a 3 song EP entitled "BeachBall" at the beginning of Summer 2017. With Mary Walker (keys, back vox) and Toby Perez (lead guitar) completing the group, the band has only recently come into its' full form as a sonically encompassing outfit with a style of songwriting that shows patience, personality, and hearkens back to late 90's/ early 00's outfits such as Sparklehorse, Wilco, Elliott Smith, Rilo Kiley, Pavement and more. The band is currently laying out tracks for a 10-song demo entitled "Something Somebody" and is shopping labels for a release.
